Perugia has a direct legacy with Maria Montessori. The MTCP is a center of excellence that has been passed down over time. The center is commited to providing quality training to the Montessori teaching community, and to those interested in becoming qualified in the Montessori method.
In fact, the future has an ancient heart.
This training course and center will be able to avail itself of the scientific and practice community created by Montessori herself and by Maria Antonietta Paolini, whose legacy is still alive in Sara Concas, one of the last direct pupils of Dr. Montessori, and some other collaborators who have been working at her side for a long time such as the current training director Sylvia Dorantes.
Sylvia Dorantes is supported by a team of leading experts in Montessori pedagogy such as Professor Raniero Regni, Dr.Luana Gigliarelli and Dr. Sophia Foo. It will also have the support of Prof. Raniero Regni who has been one of the pillars of the Montessori course in Perugia throughout the years, and is now the President of four Associations.
