THE COURSE

The AMI Primary course prepares you for your challenging task as a Montessori Primary teacher: guiding young children to develop the fullness of their individual human potential.

During the course you will establish strong habits of observation, reflection, and experimentation that will serve you well throughout your career. 

Theory of child development is presented in key lectures.

Demonstrations of Montessori materials and lessons provide the student with basic pedagogical tools.

Practice sessions in the prepared environment (classroom) provide the experience which helps to fashion the future teacher’s understanding, skill set and confidence.
